Company
A molecular intelligence platform company.
Kihealth Labs is a molecular diagnostics and disease interception company developing next-generation technologies designed to detect active disease biology before traditional clinical signs and symptoms emerge.
Our Mission
01 / 04
Measure disease at its biological source.
For decades, diabetes diagnostics have relied on indirect markers — glucose, HbA1c, insulin, C-peptide — that measure the downstream consequences of disease after substantial damage has already occurred. Kihealth Labs was founded on the conviction that disease should be measured at its source: the active molecular biology inside the cells that are failing.
Scientific Origin
02 / 04
Born from pioneering Type 1 diabetes research at Yale.
Kihealth was founded on scientific discoveries originating from research conducted at Yale University by Dr. Kevin Herold, one of the world's leading Type 1 diabetes investigators and a key contributor to the development of teplizumab — the first FDA-approved therapy shown to delay the onset of Stage 3 Type 1 diabetes. Our first technology detects active beta-cell death through cell-free DNA biomarkers released from injured pancreatic beta cells, providing a direct molecular signal of beta-cell injury years before metabolic decompensation.
InterceptIQ™ Platform
03 / 04
From a single discovery to a molecular intelligence platform.
We have extended that scientific foundation into InterceptIQ™ — a proprietary disease interception liquid biopsy platform that transforms a simple blood sample into actionable clinical intelligence through cell-free DNA analysis, epigenetic characterization, and AI-driven molecular intelligence. One substrate. Many programs. A common molecular grammar across diabetes, oncology, and neurodegenerative disease.
Disease Interception Vision
04 / 04
From reactive disease management to proactive interception.
Today's standard of care waits for a clinical event — an A1c crossing threshold, a tumor visible on imaging, a cognitive decline noted by family. Disease interception flips that model: identify cellular injury, dysfunction, and degeneration during the molecular window when outcomes can still be changed, and use that signal for earlier intervention, patient stratification, therapeutic monitoring, and precision medicine.
Product Portfolio
One platform. A growing portfolio of molecular diagnostics.
Measures active autoimmune beta-cell injury associated with Type 1 diabetes development and progression.
Identifies beta-cell dysfunction, metabolic stress, and Type 2 diabetes risk before progression to overt disease.
Next-generation liquid biopsy for early detection of pancreatic cancer and identification of molecular signals of malignant transformation.
Identifies biological signals associated with Alzheimer's disease and neurodegenerative disorders before irreversible damage occurs.
